Reading is a solitary activity, but at times haven’t you read a book that you wished you could share with someone?
At The Corner Bookstore we foster a community of avid readers and critical thinkers, the kind of folks with whom you would like to exchange thoughts and opinions. To that end, we invite you to join our first ever The Corner Bookstore Book Club!
In keeping with our commitment to only carry “the best of the best,” for The Corner Bookstore Book Club we will be selecting only “the best of the best” of recent releases to read and discuss each month.
Starting in January, 2024, the book club will meet on the last Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. at our location, 1313 Madison Ave., corner of 93rd St. and Madison Ave.
Please sign up below or in person to join our wait list. We will email you at the beginning of each month and aim to get you a seat at one of our meetings.
This month we are reading Help Wanted, by Adelle Waldman, which will be the subject of the April meetings. You can reserve your copy in person or over the phone.
Due to the holiday falling at the end of the month we will be meeting Saturday, May 4th at 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 5th at 5 p.m.
